Julia helped us plan a 150-guest wedding and reception, which was largely DIY. The wedding was in the backyard of my husbands parents home and reception was at a DIY, old-school, rustic country club. Throughout the planning stages and finally on our wedding day, we could not have been happier with Julia's attentiveness to detail, responsiveness to our many questions/requests, and her willingness to go above and beyond on so many aspects of the wedding. From the beginning, she was very organized and thorough. She researched and compared vendors for various services, and provided her recommendations, she put together detailed floor plans including an inclement weather backup plan, staffing plans, and so much more. We could not have been more thrilled with how everything turned out. On the day of the wedding, everything ran like clockwork, which we were not surprised by because of how professional Julia was all through the process. She was totally on top of game-day decisions, delegating, orchestrating, and actually enjoying everything even taking maybe the best pictures and videos we've seen so far. Beyond the high quality of her work, she's also just a pleasure to work has a great attitude, especially when we discussed unconventional wedding formats/ideas (Indian-American hybrid). We cant recommend her more highly.

I hired Julia at the recommendation of my wedding photographer, and although at first I wasnt sure I needed a wedding coordinator, looking back I think my wedding would have been a total disaster without her! We planned a 100-guest outdoor garden wedding and reception, and most of it was DIY.
Julia is a bright, personable, detail-oriented, kind, calming presence. She worked with me leading up to the wedding to ensure every detail was accounted for, from when to light the candles in the centerpieces to creating a plan for washing dishes after the event was over. I THOUGHT I WAS ORGANIZED! But Julia brought so many things to my attention that I would not have thought of. She also had so many wonderful ideas that added so much to my day.
I called her in a panic 3 days before my wedding, and she rushed over to help me organize centerpieces, iron linens, and fold napkins.
The day of our wedding, she arrived early and with a huge smile on her face. She single-handedly brought my wedding to life, from setting up the reception tables to setting out the ceremony chairs. She worked with all my vendors and coordinated their arrival and set up times. She took care of every single thing and made my entire day stress-free. She made everything look and feel effortless, and I know that had to have taken a tremendous amount of work.
My outdoor wedding was rained on, and Julia didnt bat an eye! She watched the weather and found a window for our outdoor ceremony to take place, and she organized all the guests into the tent once it started raining again. She kept us on schedule. She kept everything flowing. She took care of paying all the vendors and delivering all the thank-you notes. She cleared the tables.
I cannot imagine what my wedding day wouldve been like without her. HIRE HER! She is worth every penny (and more). I will be recommending her to all my family and friends for every future event.

Julia worked diligently with me over a period of almost a year to plan a wedding day that was-- simply put-- perfect. I am extremely organized and Type A, and never thought I could use a wedding planner. I was so wrong! From her incredible vendor recommendations, to her outstanding organization skills and endless knowledge of all things wedding, she was all I could have asked for and more. We met several times over the course of a year, and she always arrived early and was well prepared. She is extremely professional, organized, and friendly, and made a great liaison between the vendors and my family. Julias help leading up to our wedding day is only the beginning of where she really impressed me.
I truly do not believe that our wedding day would have been as beautiful, smooth, organized, and timely had she not been there and involved. The day of our wedding she arrived early and with a smile on her face. From the beginning she was keeping track of time, ensuring we would not be late. Every decoration and floral arrangement was exactly where we had discussed, and when I walked into the church and our reception venue, it was exactly as I dreamed it would be. Due to Julias hard work and incredible knack for working in this kind of environment, Mike and I, along with our families, were able to enjoy every single second of the day without any stress at all. She was working so hard behind the scenes, but she made it look effortless. I definitely give her a five-star rating and would choose her over and over again as our wedding planner. Of all of the decisions I made in wedding planning, hiring her was by far one of the best.

I could not have pictured a more perfect wedding for my (now) husband and me, and it was all thanks to Julia. I knew from our initial phone consult that she would be easy to work with. She is very professional and her passion for this line of work definitely shines. She took her time going through everything with us and answering all our questions, no matter how silly they were. A lot of pieces to our wedding were DIY and we were nervous that everything wouldn't come together. We went over all the layouts, decor, etc. with Julia and on the day of, Julia along with her assistant, Megan, effortlessly put their special touches on our decor to make everything look flawless. Julia comes beyond prepared and asked me details about the wedding that I didnt even think about. We cant thank Julia enough for making our wedding run so smoothly!

As many of us know, planning a wedding can be very stressful. Julia, with Awe The Difference wedding planning completely blew me away. She made my wedding everything I could have ever dreamed of, with the help of her assistant Megan Jones. We met numerous times to review the timeline, get in touch with vendors and emailed almost daily. Let’s not forget the late night panicking phone calls. I immediately calmed down when Julia would respond” yep, I’ve already got that arranged”. As I thought of every last minute detail, Julia made sure to have everything prepared and ready for our day. All of my decor was put into place by Julia and her assistant with some help of my florist. I never knew about a single mishap as she was persistent in making everything turn out “ perfect”. She is the most kind and genuine person with a strong love for her family and God, and through wedding coordinating, her true colors show. She puts her heart into everything she does to ensure that your wedding will be everything you’ve ever dreamed of. Julia, we can’t thank you enough. You truly are a lifesaver and we would recommend you to anyone and everyone. We will continue to be grateful for you and your hard work as we reflect back to our wedding planning/ wedding day experiences.
